Terms and Conditions

INTERNET & TELEPHONE BOOKINGS

  1. All Card Transactions are handled and processed by our Ticketing Partners Admit One (Collaborative Software) and Windcave Card Payment Systems
  2. Customers should check their inbox and junk folder for the confirmation email before attending the cinema for the confirmed details of their booking and booking collection code.
  3. Purchased Tickets are for the performance, event or activity chosen at the time of booking and any changes are at the manager’s discretion. We are under no obligation to rectify mistakes or refund any Ticket after the sale.
  4. All Telephone and Internet bookings are subject to a per ticket booking fee.
  5. Booking Fees are non-refundable.
  6. Some screenings use allocated seating, and to maximise capacity in a screening (esp if customers have left single seats around their chosen seats), we may move your seats by just 1 or 2 places in the row to close any gaps.  Some seating policies prevent customers from leaving single seats
  7. 3D glasses will be required when purchasing tickets for 3D films and cost £1 if purchased at a Movie House Cinema. Wherever possible, the booking pages indicate whether your purchase includes 3D glasses. However, due to the variety of 3D systems used by modern cinemas, the type of glasses required, and whether or not these may be purchased in advance, can vary from Location.
  8. If you already have a pair of 3D glasses, please check that they are compatible with the Master Image 3D system.
  9. Customers must adhere to the BBFC classification for the films chosen as under the terms of our license we are required to refuse admission to customers who are, or appear to be under the age for their preferred film. Proof of age may be required. BBFC consumer information is available on the website under ‘Information for Parents’.
  10. To qualify for discounted tickets (eg Student, Senior, etc) proof of entitlement will be required (depending on the method of purchase either) at the time of payment, or on collection or on admittance to the cinema. Failure to do so will result in being charged the full admission price in addition to any administrative fee required.
  11. We reserve the right to refuse admission or to ask customers to leave the centre, without a refund, if they behave in a manner that detracts from the enjoyment of others. In Cinema, this includes the use of mobile phones or recording equipment.
  12. If the film performance, event or activity is cancelled for any reason our liability will be limited to the cost of ticket purchase only.

SOFT PLAY – Rules of Play

To ensure safe play, guardians and Adult in Charge must read, and adhere to the rules at all times.

  1. No child will be admitted without an accompanying adult (over 18).  Guardians or the Adult in Charge must remain in Alley Cats at all times and should never leave children unattended. They should observe the children, in their care, at all times. Guardians Adult in Charge are solely responsible for the behaviour and well-being of all children in their care or attending their party. We will not take requests for unaccompanied minors to go out of the gate without getting the guardian’s permission first. Alley Cats do not accept responsibility for supervision of children.
  2. Children over 12 years old or over 4’ 10’’ (148cm) cannot use the facilities. Height/age restrictions are in place: the Baby area is strictly for 0-12 months. The Toddler area is strictly for up to 59 months i.e. under 5 years of age. All children 5 years of age and over (60 months to 12 years) should use the large frame. Younger children may use the large frame, only if their guardian deems them capable. The appropriate level of supervision should reflect this. Adults and taller children must ask permission, from staff, if they wish to enter the large frame. Permission may be granted at their discretion.
  3. Adults & children must remove shoes before entering the frames. Socks/stockings must be worn by everyone, at all times. Bare feet are not permitted. Socks can be purchased at reception. It is recommended that long sleeves and trousers are worn, with tops tucked in at all times. Clothing made with man-made fibres, such as football tops, are not recommended.
  4. No sharp or potentially dangerous objects can be taken into the Play Centre.
    Lockers are provided for storing sharp items, lighters, matches, cigarettes, vapours, vapour refills, medication, etc. (This list is not exhaustive). Only spectacles with shatter- proof lenses and a retainer should be worn on the frame. Buckles, jewellery, badges, toys and clothes with attachments, cords etc. should not be worn on the frame.
  5. Food, drinks, confectionary and toys etc. cannot be taken on the frames. Chewing gum and nut products should not be brought into the play area. Only food and drink purchased from Alley Cats kiosk (birthday cakes, for booked parties, are the only exception to this rule) may be consumed on the premises. Alley Cats cannot be held responsible for third party supplies. Nutritional content is available on request. Alcohol cannot be brought onto, or consumed on, the premises.
  6. Children must not climb or swing on the netting or structure. They must not stand or climb on the boggle ball, ball shower, tables or chairs etc. Children must not play or linger in front of the exits and slides, or climb up the slides. They must not throw balls, play football with soft play equipment or ride the cars/bikes outside the car wash area.
  7. Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes arguing, taunting, threatening, fighting, bullying, bad language, rule breaking etc. Customers under the influence of alcohol, drugs etc. must not enter the Play Centre. Customers may be asked to leave the frame or the play area. No refund will be given. Verbal abuse and intimidation towards the Crew will not be tolerated. Management reserve the right to refuse admission.
  8. Do not intervene in incidents yourself. To minimise further risk and to enable assistance report all accidents, spills, damages and incidents to a member of Crew, immediately. Do not approach other children or guardians yourself.
  9. Children must be accompanied to the bathrooms. Guardians and the Adult in Charge should ensure that all children wash their hands before returning to the play area. Nappy changing and use of potties etc. should only be conducted in the toilets facilities, ensuring all nappies are placed in the correct bin. These areas are to be left clean and tidy. We promote breast feeding in the Play Centre. There is a dedicated area for Nursing Mothers who may wish for more privacy.
  10. Alley Cats accept no liability for theft, loss or damage of personal belongings. We recommend that you do not bring valuables into the play area. Do not leave personal property unattended. Alley Cats Indoor Soft Play & Party Centre/ Movie House Cinemas Ltd accept no responsibility for damage or loss of any personal property.
  11. Play is restricted to 1.25 hours. If you wish to stay longer you must speak to a member of the Crew, who will use their discretion. There may be an additional fee. Opening and closing times alter due to holidays, parties, events, deep cleaning etc. It is recommended that you phone to check with us, before leaving home, to avoid disappointment.
  12. Customers who are unwell should not enter the Play Centre.
  13. Customers may not take photographs or videos. You must ask a member of the Crew if you wish to take a photograph or video of your own children. You may not include any other children or adult in this photograph or video. Your request may be denied.
  14. First aid and First aiders. There are trained first aiders and a first aid box on-site. Please ask for assistance.
  15. Please be aware that CCTV operates in this building. Guardians and Adults in Charge will be asked to provide their surnames and mobile numbers. This information is strictly for emergency purposes and only for the duration of your stay, on the day, in the Play Centre.  Your details are not shared, or passed on to any 3rd parties.
  16. Alley Cats Indoor Soft Play & Party Centre Crew supervise the play equipment maintenance and help to maximise both your children’s, and your enjoyment of the play experience. They are not a replacement for parental/guardian supervision.
  17. While every consideration is given for the safety of customers using the play area and/or attending parties & events etc; Alley Cats Indoor Soft Play & Party Centre, and Movie House Cinemas Ltd cannot be held responsible for accidents and incidents which occur during your visit.
  18. Alley Cats reserve the right to alter their times, prices, packages, terms and conditions, without prior notice, to suit business needs.

COLLECTION OF BOOKINGS

  1. For all Bookings, customers should always bring their email confirmations. Which contains a QR code and/or a Booking Reference number.
  2. For Cinema you can collect your bookings from the ATM
  3. If you did not recieve a booking confirmation email then please check your promotions, junk or spam email folders in the first place, then either send us an enquiry email or get in touch by phone.
  4. Please check before booking again as duplicate bookings will not be refunded.

GIFT CARD & E-GIFT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Gift Cards can be purchased from any Movie House Cinema and will be valid at any Movie House Cinema location and the Jet Centre Coleraine (excluding Yoko Restaurant). You can buy gift cards online by clicking here
  2. Cards can only be purchased with a minimum starting value of £10 and then in increments of £5.
  3. Cards can only be used as payment for Tickets, 3D glasses and kiosk goods and any other fees.
  4. The gift card and any remaining balance will only be valid for a period of 24 months from date of purchase.
  5. Gift Cards cannot be used as payment for other vouchers or Gift Cards.
  6. Lost, Damaged Stolen or Deleted Cards cannot be replaced or reissued.
  7. Once Purchased, Cards cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged for cash.
  8. Cards can be redeemed in person over the counter, over the telephone by speaking to a cashier or online via our booking pages. Customers must ensure they select “redeem a gift card” on the payment pages.
  9. In the event that we are unable to redeem your gift card due to a technical problem beyond our control (internet failure), alternative payment will be required.

SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITIONS

  1. Acceptance of these Terms. By entering into this Competition, you will be deemed to have accepted, and to have agreed to be bound by, these terms and conditions. All instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional materials relating to this Competition form part of these terms and conditions, provided that in the event of any conflict or inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
  2. Participants. You must be a UK resident aged 18 years or over at the time of entry to participate. The Prize Draw is not open to employees of Movie House Cinemas’, their immediate families, or anyone else professionally connected with the Competition. Whether any eligibility requirement has or has not been met is always at our sole discretion and we may require evidence or confirmation from entrants before awarding prizes.
  3. How to Enter. To enter the social media competition, entrants must submit their answer/comment in the comments section of the competition post on the Movie House Cinemas’ social media page. There is no requirement to make any purchase in order to enter the Competition or access the relevant social media link. Movie House Cinemas’ accepts no liability for any technical issues of any kind that may prevent anyone from entering the Competition. Copyright in all entries is owned by the Promoter.
  4. Start Date and Closing Date. The start time and date for the Competition will be when the competition has been posted on social media. The closing time and date for the competition will be stated on the individual competition post. Where any prize is awarded via a prize draw, prize winners will be chosen at random from all qualifying entries within twenty-eight (28) days of the Competition closing date.
  5. The Prize. Please note, Movie House Cinemas’ gives no warranty or guarantee as to the quality of the prize. No cash alternatives will be offered. If the prize becomes unavailable for any reason outside of our control, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value. Where a prize is won by a person younger than 18, we reserve the right to award the prize to the prize winner’s parent or guardian on behalf of the prize winner.
  6. Winner’s details. The winners’ first and last names will be disclosed via social media when they have been selected. Movie House Cinemas’ decision regarding the winners will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners may be required to take part in publicity and by entering this Competition they hereby agree to taking part in any such publicity.
  7. Promoter and Promoter’s Rights. The promoter of this Prize Draw is Movie House Cinemas’ Limited (Registered office: 100 – 150 York Street, Belfast, BT1 1WA). Movie House Cinemas reserves the right to (i) amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice, and (ii) terminate or suspend the Prize Draw at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.
  8. Jurisdiction. These terms and conditions (and any related disputes) are subject to interpretation under the laws of Northern Ireland, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
  9. Data Protection. All data provided by participants will be treated in line with Movie House Cinemas’ Privacy Policy (available on the Movie House Cinemas’ website at https://www.moviehouse.co.uk/page/privacy-policy), and only for the purposes of running the prize draw and administration of the Prize.
