All sports attract the competitve spirit in us; you won't be surprised to learn that there is a lively international community of tenpin bowlers who regularly battle in a wide range of competitions for bowlers of all ages.
The Northern Ireland Tenpin Bowling Federation is the official body for the sport in N.I., regularly sending teams to the European Championships, the Commonwealth Championships and the QubicaAMF World Cup.
Federation members regularly practice here at the Jet Centre: if you're lucky enough to be sharing the alley with NITBF members, you'll be in awe of the way they can swerve and spin the ball down the lane, getting strike after strike. Try not to distract them - they're busy practising for the Bowling World Cup.
