Because going to the Jet Centre Bowl is a gosh-darn-it American experience, you should note that all the bowling shoes are in U.S. sizes. Our unisex shoes are built for comfort and have their sizes stamped on the heel: black figures for men's size, and red figures for the equivalent women's size.
The American size number is always higher than the equivalent GB/IE size, but there are no hard and fast rules: we suggest you try on a few different sizes to get the right fit. That's why we recommend that you turn up to the Jet Centre Bowl ten minutes before your session is due to begin.
Below is a table, for guidance only, between shoe sizes. Don't take this as gospel; not only do shoe sizes vary from country to country, they also vary from shoemaker to shoemaker. Don't be confused or embarrassed; it's always best to try on various sizes to get the most comfort.
There's a small benefit to this page: the next time you're in New York or Orlando, you can stroll into a shoe shop and nonchalantly give the sales staff your U.S. size without the usual ten minutes of agony and embarrassment.
